i’ve realized more and more over the years that i’m interested in building worlds just as much as i am documenting them.
photography was never only about taking photos for me. it became a way to archive feeling. atmosphere. human connection. texture. fashion. movement. the tension between nostalgia and reinvention. the quiet details people almost forget happened until years later when they stumble back into them through an image.
and somewhere along the way, summer fed photography slowly evolved into something much larger than a photography business alone.
it's creative studio.
a visual archive.
a living moodboard.
a place for storytelling rooted in emotion, art direction, community, and nontraditional beauty.
this space has become home to every idea i’ve ever wanted to romanticize more fully.
i want to work worldwide with nontraditional bridal designers creating editorial campaigns that feel cinematic, tactile, emotional, and deeply alive. i want to photograph wedding fashion in ways that feel more like contemporary art direction than traditional wedding fashion advertising — sculptural silhouettes moving through city streets at midnight, layered textures against historic architecture, veils caught in the wind outside dimly lit cocktail bars, couture styling documented with intimacy instead of perfection.
to explore the space between bridal stylist and nontraditional wedding photographer. not just documenting weddings, but helping shape the visual language surrounding them entirely.
weddings are becoming more expressive now: more emotionally honest, more fashion-forward, more immersive.
& I think the visual storytelling surrounding them deserves to evolve alongside that shift.
i want to create editorial wedding and elopement imagery for couples all over the world — in copenhagen, new york, throughout california, the scottish highlands, seoul, the desert, the middle of nowhere, crowded city intersections glowing at 2am... i'll follow my art anywhere it takes me. i want to photograph people in ways that feel cinematic but deeply personal at the same time. fashion-forward without losing tenderness. documentary-inspired without losing intentionality.
i want my collections of art to feel like memory and art direction existing simultaneously.
to collaborate with artists everywhere: designers, florists, stylists, musicians, chefs, ceramicists, writers, creative directors, architects, independent magazines...
people who care deeply about atmosphere and emotional experience.
i want to host projects inside unconventional spaces: local art studios, old hotels, warehouses, rooftops, markets, wine bars, old buildings, community spaces, hidden courtyards, dimly lit restaurants, temporary galleries....
i want fashion events that feel immersive and slightly chaotic in the best way possible — collaborative artist-driven experiences blending editorial photography, music, installation work, performance, texture, movement, and design. The kind of events people leave feeling creatively altered by afterward.
and alongside photo, i want to continue expanding deeper into creative direction and branding for design-forward businesses and founders... wine bars, cocktail bars, florists, independent cafes, creative agencies, markets, fashion-adjacent brands, restaurants, event spaces, yoga studios, musicians, artists building intentional worlds of their own.
not just creating content for them — creating visual identities people emotionally attach themselves to.
i imagine the process beginning with personalized pitch decks and expansive moodboards filled with texture, pacing, typography, references, film stills, spatial inspiration, emotional tone, soundtrack pairings, styling direction, color theory, lighting references, campaign concepts, and layered visual storytelling.
something that feels lived in, breathable, textural, and emotionally charged.
editorial minimalism.
archive aesthetics.
restrained chaos.
cinematic femininity.
deep wine reds against warm cream tones.
handwritten notes layered over film scans.
print-inspired layouts.
intentional negative space.
anti-perfection.
fashion campaign energy rooted in intimacy instead of performance.
i want every project to feel immersive enough that someone could immediately recognize the emotional world of the brand before even reading its name.
that’s what i’m most interested in creating: brands that feel like experiences, photography that feels like memory, creative direction that feels alive...
a fully realized visual universe.
a collection of intentional moments layered together carefully enough that people walk away feeling something long after they interact with the work.
the strongest art direction exists somewhere between beauty and emotional honesty.
and maybe that’s what this studio is becoming?
